I am a computer science and mathematics student. I, recently, finished my A-levels, in Mathematics, IT and Business. I have giving lesson for many students in my school during school hours and after school. In addition, I have given private lessons for children in the surrounding area for a while.
We will learn and practice together with quizzes and fun questions. The student will get a chance to set a question paper for themselves and solve it in a set time. I will provide help in step by step problems because the basics are what helps you solve the most.
straight forward explanation, will provide own exams and worksheets to ensure the student fully understands before moving on to the next subject. I'm friendly and patient and will always try different explanation strategies depending on the student abilities and personality.
Motivated Alevel student taking maths, physics and computer science.
After finishing high school at The West Bridgford School I stayed on to achieve 3 A* A-levels in Maths, Economics and Chemistry. Whilst studying for these, I gained experience tutoring my siblings/(siblings friends) who went on themselves to achieve high GCSE maths grades. My enthusiastic, patient and friendly personality helps students to feel at ease with my clear-step teaching methodology.
I studied Chemistry and Maths at A Level and now read Chemistry at university. Students will have the opportunity to ask about the current syllabus content they are studying, accompanied by worksheet questions and explanations of the mechanisms of what they are learning. I like to make work exciting and enjoyable by introducing new concepts and using relevant examples.
Originally from South London, I specialise in core maths and stats at AS/A level. Will teach using examples and avoid using written lessons but to teach face to face or by video online and provide advice using personal experience be it how to cope with exams mentally, time management or motivation.

I am a 3rd Year Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at University of Bristol, that enjoy meeting people and have been always passionate to teach other student and help them get through exams by simplifying stuff.
I've just completed a Maths & Physics degree at the University of Bristol, and am happy to teach any school level Maths or Physics, and will structure the content and level based on the need of the Student which we'll discuss before the first session!
My teaching method is rigorous and dynamic. I am a dynamic teacher who want to share her passion of science with students.
I believe the best first step is gauging the students knowledge and working through their ideas on the topic together, then guiding the student to better understanding using questions to get them to think about the topic in different ways.
I break difficult to understand ideas down into small pieces, and combine with memory tricks and repitition to ensure understanding
I am a second year engineering student at the University of Bristol. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Economics in my A-Levels and received an A* and three A's. I enjoy teaching and am considered to have a caring approach and I try to make sure that learning takes place in a relaxed but studious situation.
I love challenging myself to breaking down a concept or module into smaller and simpler terms for the tutee to digest. I have received feedback from tutees saying that I can make what seemed very difficult to becoming very easy.
I got 99% in ALevel Maths, I did C1234, M123 ,S12 and FP123 and ALevel Physics was 93%. I have limited experience teaching and I want to get more experience by offering lessons at lower prices. I would like to teach hard working students aiming for higher grades.
My experience has been a consulting role amongst my other students, though I am considering adopting a more front-on approach. Where possible, I like to lay the dots so my tutees can join them up and make their own connections.
I tutor Maths and English to primary and secondary school pupils, tailoring my methods to the individual. Located opposite Clifton College, I work with students (and their families) to identify learning goals and then create a relaxed and productive environment to help them achieve. I have a basic DBS certificate (but full CRB checks can only be requested by employers).
I can very confidently teach Maths and Mechanics/physics to Alevel standard as I have now completed University level exams in these subjects. I also will be able to teach Chemistry to GCSE confidently and perhaps A-level too, as it use to be my favourite subject. Everyone learns best by being involved and that is how I learn too.
-I teach lessons to GCSE and A-level students. -Topic explanations and conceptual understanding aim to first be met in lessons through visualization diagrams followed by examples of their applications in real life and finishing off with some example past paper questions. -I rely on making sure students gain a deep understanding of concepts rather than regurgitating notes and equations.
I believe it's important to listen to the student's experience when initially establishing the appropriate strategy and intervention. Through this I am able to work out precisely what and where the student has been struggling, or how they would like more help. Talking this through also gives me an idea of how the student learns and processes information most effectively.
I am a second year civil engineering student at the University of Bristol. I teach young children maths and physics, whether they are looking to pass an 11+ or just expand their knowledge. I work through example questions and use diagrams to explain the concepts.
I don't like to just teach students content, instead I focus on helping them understanding the information and learn how to apply it effectively to questions. I believe every person is different and their learning styles are just as unique, so I will tailor my tutoring to suit you.
My teaching methods revolve around past paper questions, and learning the content and theory by trying questions, getting the wrong and then improving from your errors and understanding the process better thereafter.
I am an Undergraduate studying Mechanical Engineering at the Univeristy of Bristol. I can give lessons to Students of any level and understanding up to A level. I studied Maths, Physics and Design and Technology for A Level as well as Economics for AS.
I have always enjoyed Maths, and I see private tutoring as a great opportunity to pass on that enjoyment to others, whilst at the same time allowing them to improve their skills. In this way, I try to cater my teaching style to each student, in a manner that will keep it interesting for both of us every lesson.
Hello, my name is Mathew. I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2017 with a first class honours in Mathematics at Masters level. Since graduation, I have completed the Teach First summer institute, which offered a comprehensive introduction to teaching methods.
When I give lessons to students, I often start with their interests, and focus on the individual, creating magical experiences and encouraging them to face challenges. Teaching has shown me that every student is different, and that resilience as an educator is necessary to determine how best to help them improve and change their opinions about my subject.
I believe every student has a different approach to studying and understanding new concepts. As a tutor, it is my responsibility to figure those out and adapt my teaching style to the student. I hence tend to gauge the student's background knowledge. For example, when going through a mock exam or a past paper with a student, I first ask which questions they need help with.
