I will first get to know the student and see how they prefer to learn and then adapt my teaching style to suit them. Depending on their age and subject studying I will use a variety of methods such as flash cards, learning games and 'pop quizzes'. I will also talk to the parent/carer to see if they wish for their child to be taught in a certain way.
I try to break large topics down into smaller bite size chunks, to provide the student with additional support in combination with their usual classwork and teaching. I tailor each tutoring session to every individual students ability and needs at GCSE and secondary level.
I aim to improve the confidence as well as academic ability. I do this by enabling the student to choose the areas they wish to focus on primarily and then encompassing the syllabus as a whole through fun interactive quizzes and past papers.
I am currently in the 3rd Year of my degree in London, however live in Peterborough. I can give lessons at Primary level, KS3 and some GCSE and A-level. I tend to focus my lessons on what the student requires and so this may differ from student to student, whether they want to generally over view topics for an exam or focus directly on one particular topic where they are weakest.
I am adaptable to any teaching methods, what ever means you learn the most efficiently. I can base the lesson structure around what you would like most, so you can get the most out of the lessons. I love helping people out.
I adapt my teachings to each individual student. I will give lessons to any students that require assistance up through GCSE's. I am 21 years of age, I can still relate to the stress of exams and I promise to make it fun but effective.
I'm someone who likes to take a calm but focused approach to my teaching. I pride myself in being able to break difficult concepts down into simple steps to help students get a complete understanding of the subject.
I have tutored for a year at IQ plus tutoring centre and so have tutoring experience. I tutor mainly GCSE and AS students in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I start the lesson with an interactive starter and then proceed to explaining concepts and exam questions for the remainder of the lesson. I have taught students of all abilities and enjoy helping all students make progress.
As I am a student myself, I have been through everything recently. I am currently studying Alevel maths, so I have a wide range of math knowledge. - Understanding is central - students will always master one area, grasping the underlying problem, before moving on - Tailored to individual needs - all students are different, and the joy of personal tuition is being able to make each lesson unique - Planned and structured - students should always know what they're learning in each lesson, and how that fits into the overall picture they're...
My teaching methodology is to go by the specification and spend time on your topics or choice.
I am currently doing my GCSE’s so have a lot of knowledge and understanding of the subjects. The first session is free and it’s mainly going to based on getting to know each other better and figuring out the pupil’s strengths and weakness so they can be improved upon in the following sessions.

I approach each topic based on students preference and the most easiest method of learning. towards the end, we will recap the outcome and look into possible way to improve our learning. Learners will take ownership of their work and i will provide assistance where needed.
I believe the best way to improve in mathematics is through practice. For this reason I will provide many examples for your child to try allowing my to learn where your child's strengths and weaknesses lie. Through this method your child can improve efficiently and effectively. For younger students, interactive games can be used to help retain attention.
I am just about to begin year 13 (upper sixth) so I am very aware of all the different methods of teaching that I have experienced throughout my school career. I am also very aware of the things I find most effective and things that don’t work for me.
