I like to tailor my classes to suit the student’s needs. I start by assessing the goal/objective of the student and then plan the best method/route to achieve this goal. I am approachable and patient - my students feel they are able to ask as many questions as they like.
My teaching method is to approach each subject in a creative manner, in order to make my lessons more memorable and accessible to all. I have several specific techniques for every subject including important and useful resources available for all.
Maths is a subject people often struggle with, so I do my best to tailor teaching to the student and what they need. For younger students, I ensure lessons are fun and revolve around their interests, and for older students we work on understanding what the question requires and how to best apply skills to each question.
My teaching method is what I believe to be the best way to learn; which is the intuitive method. I believe that making the student understand the subject matter will not only help achieve the better grade but will also help the student retain the subject material for longer.
I think the best way is giving exam style questions making the student have ago then after go through together & then show them how to apply the method to another question

My name is Namita and I have recently completed my A levels. I am able to tutor students of any ability on Maths. I structure my sessions based on an initial meeting with the student so I can understand how the student works best. This is because everyone will have a different approach, which will elicit the best response from them.

Getting to know the Student well to ensure effective working relationships. Taking every opportunity to praise and develop confidence and self esteem, never giving up on a student. Repeating the message that education provides opportunities for the student and provides a vision and purpose for the future.
I am currently studying for a BSc in Physics at Swansea University. I feel I had to use a broken down technique to be able to learn everything I had to and will try convey this style of learning. This combined with going through questions is the key along with practise.

I am currently studying maths at a level and can help anybody studying and preparing for GCSE maths. I'm a Durham University student graduating this June looking to tutor GSCE students over the summer in Maths and Science subjects. I have a friendly teaching style aiming to improve the student's maths and science knowledge in an engaging way. I'm willing to listen to the problems individual student's may have and focus on them to help them improve.
My teaching methodology is looking at the individual topics within the GCSE/Module, assessing strengths based upon verbal communication as well as past paper questions. I like to then get to the bottom of what the student does not understand and explain it from the ground up, so people know why they do things as opposed to remembering simple rules for everything.
My teaching method is dependent upon the student I am teaching. I can adapt lessons to cater for students of all abilities.
First, I would ask the student to do a practice paper to see wheree his strengths and weaknesses in that subject are. Then i would focus on those weaknesses until the student is strong enough in that topic to answer questions on it confidently.
As a tutor, I am aware of the difficult concepts to grasp in Mathematics and therefore, when explaining and working through problems, I ensure I thoroughly explain and detail every step. I will check understanding of content covered before moving on to new content as it is essential to have a solid foundation before moving on to more difficult content.
I am a sixth form student and dedicate a lot of time to helping students in lower years, such as year 11's, when preparing for their GCSE's by providing support on not only effective revision methods, which I've picked up through recent experience, but also with detailed knowledge relating to the subjects.
I give lessons to GCSE and A-Level students in Maths, Further Maths and Physics, both in person (in Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge) and online. Having completed my GCSEs and A-Levels myself rather recently, I can relate and see problems from a student's perspective.
