My unusual name is Razi. Teaching is in y genetics, my mom, and grandparents were teachers and I am no anomaly to this teaching dynasty. I am very laid - back and love the opportunity to meet new people. Furthermore, the best thing that teaching gives me is that it makes me know that I've helped someone, changed someones life for the better, and hopefully inspired someone to aim high.
I am a civil engineering graduated who has taken a fondness to teaching. I enjoy teaching and helping those in the field of math and physics. My methodology has been proven to work and the best way to advance a student's academic goals is to identify weaknesses in subjects and turn those into strengths.
I am enthusiastic and fully committed to education. Teaching experiences from KS2 to post-19 education has provided a sound opportunity to enhance education and subsequent life. My students are always actively engaged in learning - join me. - Which subject(s) do you teach? General Science, Maths and English Language to KS3. Balanced Science and Separate Sciences to GCSE.
My teaching method is focussing on whatever helps each individual student learn, if you are a visual learner, my lessons will be very visual based etc. I am an incredibly determined individual and will work my hardest to help you reach the grades you deserve.
As a Physics teacher I was always very careful about the quality of my teaching and up to-date in my lectures in every semester. During lectures I always made sure that the students were with me and I always put all of my efforts to inspire and motivate them. I can communicate with students from various backgrounds and can properly encounter the students who have different learning capabilities.
In my tuition, I will offer the following: • Structured lessons with relevant learning outcomes • Weekly homework to monitor students’ progress • Advice on university degrees and career opportunities in Mathematics and Physics • Preparation for A Level, GCSE and key stage 1, 2 and 3 examinations
My teaching method involves as much direct practise at exam questions as possible, the more exposure you have had to past paper questions the higher the chance of success. My focus is to teach you through step by step methods, that work as set solutions, this removes the thinking process, saves time and makes maths intuitive.
PhD qualified science tutor with recent teaching experience in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Will travel to you! Recent DBS check (March 2013) and extensive experience with GirlGuiding UK. References and evidence of qualifications available. - Which subject(s) do you teach? Biology, Chemistry and Physics. - Tell me about your qualifications.
- Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and CAD/CAM/CAE. - Tell me about your qualifications. Post Graduate Studies at the University of Manchester; B.Sc in Mechanical Engineer (Honours). - How much do you charge? I give discounts for group lessons. - Where do you teach? I teach at home and students' homes, near Oldham and Manchester city centre.
My teaching method requires me to usually make sure the student understands the basics before proceeding to any complex problems. Usually, I teach students physically. However I have decided to use this platform to see how it goes. I like to know my students better as I am able to relate some educational problems with their day to day activities.
I am an AS student currently studyingChemistry, maths, physics and ICT. I can teach primary, secondary, GCSE and AS level students. I charge £17 an hour but there is room for negotiation.
- Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Maths and Physics at GCSE, A-Level or for any other qualification you might be studying for. - Tell me about your qualifications. I have straight As and A*s at GCSE and 3 As at A-level. I have a BSc Physics (1st class) and am currently working on a research project at Jodrell Bank Observatory.
My pupils are at the forefront of their own learning - I facilitate their learning and continuously challenge my pupils. I always have learning objectives at the start of each lesson and these are checked at the end of every lesson.
I am an experienced tutor providing lessons in mathematics and physics at A level. For individual lesson planning, I ask pupils to email in advance a little information on any particular areas they may be struggling with, along with exam board details.
Teaching must be as fun as possible. This is why all students are treated in a friendly manner so there is no hesitation in asking any questions and as many times as possible. They are given extra help even when not physically available via online collaboration software as time is crucial for every student and therefore as a teacher, it is necessary to be always there for them whenever needed.
My approach is flexible, student-focused and target aimed. I have experience of teaching algebra and trigonometry to students to help them fill the gaps in fundamental knowledge and make sure they could progress in their Physics course. I am keen to engage students by conducting small experiments and introducing smart animations to reveal physical phenomenon.
My approach towards teaching is student-centred with aspect of inquiry based learning. My role is to coach and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material while measuring the student's learning continuously through formal and informal methods of assessment.
I am a graduate of Aerospace Engineering from the University of Manchester, with excellent grades at both GCSE and A Level. I can offer lessons to A Level Maths and Physics Students who either wish to improve their performance, or understand a concept. I have worked as an outdoor instructor, as well as academic tutoring, giving me different ways to approach and explain topics.

At the moment I am doing my Ph.D. in the field of Textiles at The University of Manchester. - How much do you charge? I charge 15 to 20 pounds per hour.
- Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Maths, Chemistry and Physics. - Tell me about your qualifications. I am a Ph.D. student at The University of Manchester. I have a First Class Bachelor in Chemical Engineering. I also have an M.Sc. in Pipeline Engineering with Distinction and was the top student at Newcastle University. - How much do you charge? I charge 12 pounds/hour.
I will teach GCSE and A-level lessons pitched at any level. I will focus on questioning what we are doing and understanding why we do everything. This is the best way to get a topic in my opinion. I will be enthusiastic and patient and try to give you a wider appreciation of the topic.
My lessons will be based around what my students are currently studying at school or college. I advise students to present me with issues they are having with certain topics, or individual maths problems that are causing them grief. I would ideally set some work to do between sessions, and a portion of the time in each session would be going over what they've done.
Hi, I am Cal, a current undergraduate at The University of Manchester who is reading Physics with Theoretical Physics. I give lessons in Maths and Physics from A level down to Key Stage 2. I am very flexible. Lessons are based on the questions you give or I can supply the questions based on an unfamiliar topic.
I approach teaching by thoroughly explaining a concept and then applying it to lots of different areas. This is mainly done through practice questions and past papers. I aim to pinpoint areas that the student finds difficult and spend lots of time consolidating knowledge.
Depending on explaining the materials and giving some examples with deep details to clarify the steps of solutions as good as requested
I like to teach students to understand rather than to cram. This is important because once you understand there is nothing you cannot tackle! I also like to make lessons fun and interactive, that way everyone is comfortable to ask questions about things they don't understand.
I teach in secondary level (11-16) but have 6th form experience as well. I like to vary my lessons and make sure there is something interesting and engaging about them. The one thing I hated when I was at school was a boring teacher.
Every student is different and everyone has specific weaker areas, therefore, I tailor my methods to my students’ individual needs. However, one thing universal to all that I teach is my rigorous approach, as I really care about my students. As long as they are willing to put the work in, I will do everything I can to help them achieve their goals.
TL;DR: - Willing to teach anyone who's not above my current academic level (1st year UG) - Technique: subjectively finding a imaginative explanation to concepts and how that is written by Math. Then problem solving and practice for better understanding.
I am currently a 2nd year physics student at the University of Manchester. When it comes to teaching dense subjects such as Mathematics and physics, I believe that portraying complicated concepts in a simplistic way is vital. As a recent A- level student I believe that I understand the pressure that students are under and was not so long ago in the same position as them.
