I approach each topic by giving a starter question linking to previous knowledge. If it was maths, I start by explaining the key steps to do a calculation for example, then do examples before letting students do some questions on their own. For chemistry and physics, I interoduce each topic by explaining the theory then do past paper questions.
I am a civil engineering graduated who has taken a fondness to teaching. I enjoy teaching and helping those in the field of math and physics. My methodology has been proven to work and the best way to advance a student's academic goals is to identify weaknesses in subjects and turn those into strengths.
My teaching method involves as much direct practise at exam questions as possible, the more exposure you have had to past paper questions the higher the chance of success. My focus is to teach you through step by step methods, that work as set solutions, this removes the thinking process, saves time and makes maths intuitive.
As a Physics teacher I was always very careful about the quality of my teaching and up to-date in my lectures in every semester. During lectures I always made sure that the students were with me and I always put all of my efforts to inspire and motivate them. I can communicate with students from various backgrounds and can properly encounter the students who have different learning capabilities.
My teaching method requires me to usually make sure the student understands the basics before proceeding to any complex problems. Usually, I teach students physically. However I have decided to use this platform to see how it goes. I like to know my students better as I am able to relate some educational problems with their day to day activities.
I am an AS student currently studyingChemistry, maths, physics and ICT. I can teach primary, secondary, GCSE and AS level students. I charge £17 an hour but there is room for negotiation.
My unusual name is Razi. Teaching is in y genetics, my mom, and grandparents were teachers and I am no anomaly to this teaching dynasty. I am very laid - back and love the opportunity to meet new people. Furthermore, the best thing that teaching gives me is that it makes me know that I've helped someone, changed someones life for the better, and hopefully inspired someone to aim high.
Teaching must be as fun as possible. This is why all students are treated in a friendly manner so there is no hesitation in asking any questions and as many times as possible. They are given extra help even when not physically available via online collaboration software as time is crucial for every student and therefore as a teacher, it is necessary to be always there for them whenever needed.
My approach towards teaching is student-centred with aspect of inquiry based learning. My role is to coach and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material while measuring the student's learning continuously through formal and informal methods of assessment.
- Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Mathamatics, Physics and Chemistry. - Tell me about your qualifications. I am basically a textile engineer. At the moment I am doing my Ph.D. in the field of Textiles at The University of Manchester. - How much do you charge? I charge 15 to 20 pounds per hour.
I am a graduate of Aerospace Engineering from the University of Manchester, with excellent grades at both GCSE and A Level. I can offer lessons to A Level Maths and Physics Students who either wish to improve their performance, or understand a concept. I have worked as an outdoor instructor, as well as academic tutoring, giving me different ways to approach and explain topics.
- Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Maths and Physics at GCSE, A-Level or for any other qualification you might be studying for. - Tell me about your qualifications. I have straight As and A*s at GCSE and 3 As at A-level. I have a BSc Physics (1st class) and am currently working on a research project at Jodrell Bank Observatory.
My pupils are at the forefront of their own learning - I facilitate their learning and continuously challenge my pupils. I always have learning objectives at the start of each lesson and these are checked at the end of every lesson.
I am a fully qualified Science teacher at a Secondary school. I teach during the day and intend to give tuition lessons in the evening. I can teach up to GCSE level as this is the qualification in which I am experienced in helping students advice.
- Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Maths, Chemistry and Physics. - Tell me about your qualifications. I am a Ph.D. student at The University of Manchester. I have a First Class Bachelor in Chemical Engineering. I also have an M.Sc. in Pipeline Engineering with Distinction and was the top student at Newcastle University. - How much do you charge? I charge 12 pounds/hour.
I will teach GCSE and A-level lessons pitched at any level. I will focus on questioning what we are doing and understanding why we do everything. This is the best way to get a topic in my opinion. I will be enthusiastic and patient and try to give you a wider appreciation of the topic.
I am an experienced tutor providing lessons in mathematics and physics at A level. For individual lesson planning, I ask pupils to email in advance a little information on any particular areas they may be struggling with, along with exam board details.
Hi, I am Cal, a current undergraduate at The University of Manchester who is reading Physics with Theoretical Physics. I give lessons in Maths and Physics from A level down to Key Stage 2. I am very flexible. Lessons are based on the questions you give or I can supply the questions based on an unfamiliar topic.
My lessons will be based around what my students are currently studying at school or college. I advise students to present me with issues they are having with certain topics, or individual maths problems that are causing them grief. I would ideally set some work to do between sessions, and a portion of the time in each session would be going over what they've done.
Depending on explaining the materials and giving some examples with deep details to clarify the steps of solutions as good as requested
I like to teach students to understand rather than to cram. This is important because once you understand there is nothing you cannot tackle! I also like to make lessons fun and interactive, that way everyone is comfortable to ask questions about things they don't understand.
I teach in secondary level (11-16) but have 6th form experience as well. I like to vary my lessons and make sure there is something interesting and engaging about them. The one thing I hated when I was at school was a boring teacher.
I can tutor for levels from KS3 to A-Level. My method is through giving examples and problem based learning to create deep levels of understanding of the subject matter and developing confidence in problem solving skills. I am very friendly, positive and patient as a person.
Hi! I am a graduate student studing in The University of Manchester, and my major is renewable energy which means I have acquired much basic maths and physical knowledge.Since I come from China, I think doing lots of excisices to understand the formula is a better way.And also, combination of real life is equally important.
My undergraduate degree was a triple major BSc in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. I am currently an MSc by Research student of astrophysics at the university of Manchester. I emphasize conceptual learning and mastering of basics over all else. I use online resources extensively. I am dedicated and am willing to explain any concept any number of times.
I'm currently a first year undergraduate, I can teach Maths, Physics and Chemistry for anything up to A level standard, I also did very well at GCSE for all the sciences and Maths and I often read around my subjects so tuition on other science subjects shouldn't be a problem, I'm happy to read any specifications and reaffirm myself with any content or techniques you will need to ensure you get a...
I approach teaching by thoroughly explaining a concept and then applying it to lots of different areas. This is mainly done through practice questions and past papers. I aim to pinpoint areas that the student finds difficult and spend lots of time consolidating knowledge.
TL;DR: - Willing to teach anyone who's not above my current academic level (1st year UG) - Technique: subjectively finding a imaginative explanation to concepts and how that is written by Math. Then problem solving and practice for better understanding.
I am a Post Graduate Student at The University of Manchester. I have an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering. I have experience of giving lessons in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to the high school and senior secondary school students.
I am currently a student of University of Manchester doing MSc by Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics. I believe that my strong basic knowledge and interest in the subjects will make me a very competitive candidate for this position. I am hard working and patient. I love teaching and will make sure that I deliver my best for the benefit of the student.
