I look to first capture an idea of my students strengths and weaknesses. From this stage, I can look to develop a step by step plan in their progress and help students achieve their highest potential. I believe developing a teaching culture is very important and to keep my students feeling comfortable when studying.
By going through the primary stage myself I have come to the conclusion that by understanding the basics first and slowly building up your knowledge, step by step you can understand the topics in more depth and are able to apply this knowledge to harder questions. I am able to help with practise questions as well as consolidation on each topic.
I teach mainly by explaining ideas and then using examples that students can understand in order to help build up knowledge. I then have students practise these concepts by using a variety of examples and practice questions in order to familiarise students with new ideas.
I base my classes on the needs of my students and my general methodology is explaining how to tackle a problem and then providing examples and subsequently setting questions

For most of the students, math is a scary thing. At first approach, they face the math problems from the platform which can be solved very nice and tricky way. Currently, I am studying at the University of Buckingham on Applied Computing where programming shows me the different angle to solve different problems.

I provide a 1-1 session with the student. I recently have sat the new GCSE myself achieving an A star in the process. I would make sure each student understands the topic thoroughly before hand and understand the new exam techniques, eradicating silly errors that may cost them from achieving the very top grade.
Primary students. Make maths as fun and easy as possible to ensure that they enjoy their lessons and learn. I use question sheets, some of which I create myself. Before moving onwards to another topic that needs to be taught, I ensure the child has understood and learnt what has previously been taught.
Can provide tuition from primary to A level. Initially, will assess how the individual learns best and try to tailor lessons according. Will try to guide student to the answer, rather than telling them outright, as I believe it is important to understand how the answer is derived.
I have had experience of coaching members of staff in the branch (6 years experience). My teaching style is more aligned to coaching in the private sector. As a part of my degree I carried out training in the use of technology in French at GCSE level.
I am new to the tutoring to the kids outside of my family. I believe that every child is unique and requires different method. It is best to learn using real life examples and i try my best to use this in my lessons.
