My experiences with young children has shown me how different children respond to different teaching styles. I like to mould my methods around the student. By spending time tackling questions, I can quickly grasp what teaching method I believe would be most suitable for the child.
My teaching method is to briefly explain a topic, work through examples together to build up an understanding, and then provide the student with more examples, increasing in difficulty, that help to demonstrate and reinforce the ideas of the topic at hand. I base lessons on that which the student suggests they struggle with.
They way I would teach maths and physics is by the student choosing an area of which they struggle in, or a certain type of question they find hard, go to the basics of how the questions should be answered and give the sufficient knowledge to answer similar ones in the future. If time is on our side then more time could be spent learning the key areas needed to achieve a high grade in the exam.
I am a compassionate teacher, who remains sensitive to children’s unique needs, and offers positive encouragement and reinforcement to keep children motivated. I will provide active lessons that will engage with the learner and best suits their learning style.
I am a current university student looking to tutor children with their maths. I have helped in a primary school, from year 3-6 and loved helping the children understand a concept they were struggling with. I aim to understand their learning style and use more enhanced tools to help them.
I approach each topic with an aim to understand the initial level of understanding and to patiently build upon this using techniques such as analogies, practice questions and thought-provoking conversation. I aim to tailor my teaching to each individual student and provide them with several methods for understanding a topic.
Hi I'm Ben, I give lessons to students either at primary, KS3 or GCSE level. My lessons are flexible and I am happy to help with any homework that is proving difficult, tutor any desired section of the course again, do papers, mark and go through them, or go through any class work it is up to you.
My teaching method is focused on ensuring the understanding is there to allow for exam techniques to be worked on to ensure the best possible results. I am happy to adapt my style to any students so if you have a particular request please let me know. If there is a group of you in the Chelmsford area I’m happy to do a group session with a group discount.
We will discuss what topics you would like to go over during each session and then I will teach using examples and explanations and then give questions to check your understanding and will go over anything as many times as you would like. If you wish I can give you some questions to practice at home so you can make sure you're okay with it.
I'm a part-time student of physics and astronomy with over 4 years of experience in science communication. I am offering help with maths and science to students of all ages and abilities up to A level.
I can offer help most definitely in GCSE or A-Level subjects involving mathematics/physics. The types of subjects I can offer help on tend to be tedious and can be seen to robotic when trying to revise due the nature of mathematical subjects.
About me: I am a 16 year old student at a grammar school who is very enthusiastic about science, as I am looking to go into aerospace engineering or medicine. I love to help others learn and I love all knowledge. I consider myself an all-rounder though not especially great any one subject I prefer sciences. I am able to be patient and vary my explanation methods.

I teach the topics that the student in particular find difficult but also recap other topics. Give them questions I have made myself. At the end of each topic I will give them a test also produced by myself. Since I have done the new maths GCSEs I am experienced in the way they ask the questions.
My teaching method revolves mainly around individual progression, with most of my experience coming with GCSE students but also now with A level students. I am very flexible with class times to meet any preferred times and I base much of my lessons around this.

I am an examiner and properly qualified teacher/ tutor with massive experience in delivering the national curriculum , I take myself to the level of students and once there, i pull them up to my level. The minimum grade i tolerate is a 7.
My teaching method is to get to know what exactly the student would like to go through in terms of topics. To walk them through those topics step by step and to get them to do some questions and then give feedback in terms of both their topical knowledge and question answering technique.
I believe that the two most effective methods of learning are through clear explanation, and question practice. During question practice, I will go through the questions together initially in order for to teach the understanding of how to answer questions in the appropriate manner.
I usually teach first-year engineering students and A-level students in Maths, Physics, and Biology. I seem to give you my own examples and try an adapt my teaching style based on how you process things so my teaching patterns will be different for each individual I teach.
I believe exam technique is an important initial method to learning maths. My lessons therefore focus on examples with summaries of the theory behind each topic to help bind mathematical ability and create links between the different areas. This way, you develop the essential skills whilst being able to appreciate the subject fully.
I am a patient and understanding tutor who often finds the best way to tutor is to adapt to the student. I am keen to give my students a plan and regular recaps to ensure that they are attaining all the information.
