After teaching people of my age and younger, I have come to realize that everyone requires different teaching methods. I like to first cover the basics to understand exactly what level of knowledge my student has, and then build up on it with my understanding. I know that using real life examples is very helpful in explaining sciences to others.
I aim to create a friendly and amicable environment to maximise students' learning potential. For A levels and GCSEs, I will go through all the topics and exam techniques in each topic. Students will get related work to do at home, so that the knowledge gained in the sessions is consolidated. And finally, we will go through the past exam papers of specific examination board.
I base my classes on the syllabus that is to be covered. The amount of matter covered in each class is based on the grasping ability of the student. I teach based on examples and practice problems since I believe that the more you practice, the better you learn.
When dealing with a question the student might be struggling on, I let the student read through it again and then explain and prompt them before going through the question fully so they can have greater independence and feel comfortable answering questions similar in the future.

Classes are mainly aimed for children at primary school. We will be focusing on a topic every lesson. Students will be given worksheets to complete in class and some to do as homework.
