I'm a primary teacher by trade but I've been teaching functional skills to 16-18 year olds over the past three years. I have a proven track record of delivering interesting lessons to enhance the understanding of my learners at the college where I work at. My teaching method is intense, real life scenarios and I love to break the sums down to stories and diagrams.
My teaching style is based on individual or small group mentoring and is largely dependent on the students and their needs. Beginning sessions focus on getting to know their strengths and weaknesses and then working from there.
My method when it comes to teaching is to ensure the absolute basics are perfect, then work upwards from there; without the basics students will often struggle towards the higher end of the syllabus however they often don't realise that they're missing vital basic knowledge.
My teaching methodology is to initially understand the areas you are keen to focus on, and then read up prior to our lesson, ensuring I am thoroughly prepared to guide you step by step to arrive at the solution. I am most keen to deliver lessons to GCSE and AS/A2 level students, as i have thorough experience with most examined topics across the major exam boards such as OCR, AQA, and Edexcel.
My teaching method is quite simple as I ask the individual what they need to work on and then I show them the method and prepare questions for them to complete. I teach maximum up to GSCE level, including Secondary School and Primary Education. I have recently completed my GCSEs and so I know the required level that students will have to work and so I have some experience.
I enjoy teaching in a more 'old school' way. I'm very interactive and ensure the pupil is understanding what i am teaching whilst also making the lessons fun. I am open to teaching anyone however my expertise is best suited for Primary and Secondary school students. I typically help the pupil enjoy the subject which ultimately makes them want to do well: you will see results.
MY TEACHING METHODS VARY DEPENDING ON THE STUDENT I AM TEACHING AND HOW THEY LEARN I WILL ADAPT TO THEIR STYLES. THIS COULD BE VIA IMAGERY SUCH AS PRESENTATIONS ,PAST PAPERS AND OTHER METHODS WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT BE REPETITIVE.
Can focus on any aspect of maths with practice questions and by doing past papers with extra help on anything needed
I currently study Mathematics at University and give lessons to GCSE/A levels students in and around Birmingham. I intend to instil a passion for knowledge and bring out the intrinsic curiosity of my students. Never will a student find themselves being patronised, only encouraged and given a fertile ground upon which to grow.
My teaching method is based on assessments, real time, face to face up skilling in all areas covered in the GCSE and functional skills qualifications. Methods of teaching varies and is tailor made to the needs and requirements of the student. This could be via video, workbooks, practice papers and past exam papers.
I work on a "find fault and fix" methodology after the learner has completed an Initial and diagnostic assessment. I work with individual learners at their pace, seeking to overcome their "obstacles" to understanding and mastery of mathematics. The learner is at the centre of my approach to teaching/tutoring.
I'm a fully qualified & experienced Teacher & Tutor of Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) & Maths at GCSE, A level & Undergraduate Level. I offer one-to-one tuition for people serious about succeeding in their studies. I assess each student at the beginning and negotiate a starting point for tuition based upon initial performance & aspirations.
I have taught students of various ages in a variety of different subjects and countries. I have taught English in China, Mathematics in Germany and Business Studies in the UK. I have been privately tutoring for a while now and have helped students increase their grades by more than 70%. I specialise in English, Maths and Business Studies.
My teaching method is based on first theory, then an example, then progressively harder questions to allow students who are finding it easier to continue on to harder problems. I prefer students to see me more as a mentor than a teacher, i.e. I would prefer students to be more relaxed and comfortable around me as they are more likely to learn this way.
I tutor everything in your course in a logical and easy to understand way. I base my classes on teaching methods that are effective and I approach each problem in such a way that the student understands. I recommended that students ask me questions when they don't understand. All pupils leave with an improved understanding, which is proven by my previous students success.
I am a secondary school mathematics teacher and I work hard to secure good progress in my students, by putting into place a structured tuition plan, involving parents if they wish. I am flexible to each individual tutee's needs and offer a positive mindset in my delivery that allows my tutees to ask questions and develop a deeper understanding of the mathematics they are learning.
I am a 15 year old who attends secondary school. I am able to give tuition lessons to kids who are willing to learn maths or basic science. I am able to give 1 to 1 lessons, which are interactive and I am sure to make sure that the child learns something new each lesson.
I am an A-Level student who has just finished exams. I took Maths, Physics and Further Maths and I am predicted A*AA on results day. I like to handle topics one at a time until my student understands it thoroughly and I am willing to teach whatever my student feels that they need help with.
I am a mathematics University student currently on a gap year. I have good knowledge of and give lessons in mathematics and physics. I am friendly and patient and good at explaining things. I am passionate about the subjects I teach.
I approach my method depending on what each student requires. I ensure j work on their weaknesses and help boost their confidence, whilst also pushing them to excel in their strengths.
My teaching is based on providing a solid understanding of the topics by implementing the teaching into real-life problems. The lessons would consist of the explanation of the topic and its application in the form of pre-written examples to be solved in class as well as homework. I can provide lessons for most age groups up to college/degree level.
I am an experienced, positive and friendly teacher who has successfully guided many children through the KS2 SATs tests. I am offering 1 to 1 support with these tests and with support for the 11 plus grammar school tests. I am especially effective with children with low confidence or motivation.
My teaching style is based on facilitation and creating an intellectually stimulating environment. I am easy-going, supportive and a good listener, and I hope to inspire students to feel accepted, comfortable, and enjoy the process of learning. My aim is to instill a love of the subject in the student.
I have been working a a teacher for 20 years and have taught students from ages 5 to adult. I cover many different subjects and have taught mainstream and SEND students (specialising in EBSD, ASC, ADHD, Dyslexia and SLCN needs). I currently undertake 1:1 and small groups tutoring as required and in many different locations.
I'm a very easy-to-get-along-with young man who is fresh out of university. I will happily teach you all you need to know about any of the scientific subjects (biology, physics and chemistry and mathematics) all of which I achieved As myself in at A level. I can also travel to your house if necessary and will explain any concepts you have any trouble with patiently and at your own pace.
I look at your weaknesses and find a way to improve in that area. This could be done by breaking down the topic for you and giving you lots of practice. I am understanding and will do my best to help u reach the level you want.
With the recent changes in the Mathematics curriculum, learning maths will become more challenging and can only be overcome with early application. Learners will have to be taught to think more critically and creatively in order to solve problems.
My teaching method focuses on introducing a topic at a level my student will understand before going on to increase the level of difficulty throughout the session. Instead of handing my students the answer, I first like to see if they are able to work out what the next step is to go from the level they are currently at to the next step up.
My teaching method is very easy. I provide the information and then I test you on the given information. This allows the student to understand and recall the information with ease. This method has statistically proven to improve exam grades dramatically.
My name is Osarumwense Aigbe and I'm in the UK since July 2016. I've been here in the UK for almost 12 months, but my As predicted grades are outstanding ( A for Physics and Maths, B for biology) You may think that I'm a sort of genius, but let me tell you something: NO ONE IS A GENUS. You just need passion and a good revision technique, and maybe even a good tutor.
