Mostly I give lessons to all below University level, with a focus on Physics and mathematics. I will focus on getting the student to understand concepts rather than learn formulae by heart. My professional experience is testament of my skills.
I work to find out the students strengths and weaknesses, then fill in any gaps in the student's knowledge and understanding. Followed by plenty of practice on questions. The approach is totally personalised to the needs of the individual student.
I believe in understanding over repetition or memorization. I will put the time in to set a good foundation for work. I'll use representations and videos for deeper understanding, so we'll have plenty of resources to go through in our sessions.
As an all A* student I can teach up to A-Levels. I structure my lesson content based on the individual student requirements or their areas of difficulty, thus, each lesson is unique to the student. The lesson can be structured to cover course content, exam techniques or marking past paper questions with the emphasis on making student progress in all aspects of the subject.
my method helps kids to understand the work better, ensuring they are able to feel confident when they are asked a question in class, feel confident during exams and not feeling worried. I believe that a child improves their knowledge while being happy with what they are doing. I have created a unique tutoring and study guide that has helped my students in the past.
I just simplify the lesson till it gets easy for the students to understand. My main aim is to let the students enjoy doing maths. I teach to KS2 and KS3.
I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I’m flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others. I also have lots of ideas and enthusiasm. I have strong IT skills, including Sage 50, Excel, PowerPoint and database.
I am a student currently attending a grammar school. I give one on one help with easy and modern techniques to not only help the student understand how to solve the problems but to explain why they are solved in that way.
My teaching method is adaptable, based on the level of the student and the way they learn. This includes working through problems together, assigning tasks and talking through problems, and setting individual work which will be marked. I believe students should first learn how to do a problem, then go through a problem with someone, then do the problem themselves, then explain it to the tutor.
I love to teach my learners by using a lot of examples. I design my lessons based on the abilities and needs of my students, which brings out their full potential. I like helping learners to achieve success and this gives me great satisfaction.
Learning is unique to the individual student. I strive to work with students to help them develop their own methods to understand topics they find difficult, and thus develop skills for their independent study in the future. Fun is imperitive to learning and I believe lessons are most effective when they are also enjoyable.
I base my classes on problem-solving as students find this most helpful for exam preparation. I tend to begin by focussing on areas in which the students struggle the most, explaining concepts before tackling questions if necessary. Once the student is more confident with the syllabus, we move onto doing general questions and past papers.
I'm currently studying Mathematics, History and Psychology at College, but after completing a GCSE in both Mathematics and Physics I know the subjects well. My lessons will consist of ensuring the student understands what they have learnt in lessons and to excel this learning to their maximum potential in preparation for any exams or end of year tests they have coming up.
I have finished my maths A level and received an A*, as well as maths being the subject that I want to study at university . Currently, I don't tutor, but in the past I have tutored my friends at GCSE level who were struggling to get a grasp of the maths and science content and I have always found it quite fulfilling to spread my knowledge. However, I would like to change that and try to widen the spread even more and start to tutor students at a larger level.
I am an a level student who can teach maths to primary and secondary students. I am able to cater to all different learning styles and provide an engaging learning experience.
Lessons should be carefully tailored to the student and this is something I stand by. With Maths and Physics in particular, besides repetition and experience, approaching a topic from numerous angles and understanding the reasoning behind certain formulas is essential.
I have immense knowledge of subjects. My teaching skills ensure that you understand the topic because I believe once you understand something you cannot forget. My degrees include Master of Science in Telecommunication Engg. from London, Bachelors degree in electronics and communications from India.I am passionate about teaching and education.
I start the first lesson by assessing the level and key areas that the student needs help in and from there draw up a plan going forward to help improve their weak areas. We will the begin looking at the basics of the topics they are struggling in and to then move swiftly into past papers and to understand correct technique when trying to answer them.
I am learning to become a teacher one day on a Faculty of Education and being a tutor is the best way to get my experience based on your feedbacks. Mostly I teach people from secondary school, but i wouldn't mind teaching on my level, so for a degree which contains basic knowledge of maths or physics.
I primarily teach english, maths and science to children aged 5 - 16. My teaching method is based around improving each student's understanding and teaching them each topic in easy to understand ways. I am an experienced facilitator and I believe that its important to teach my students how to study smarter, not harder.
My teaching method is simple. It starts with the building of key principles and knowledge of the basics, moving on to worked examples of questions of varying difficulty. After the aforementioned is mastered, then timed exam style questions with be practised.
My teaching method for maths is structured yet relaxed in a fun environment. Using regular small tests finding the best way for the individual to learn and helping them further develop their skills. I offer thirty minute lessons to an hour, once a week depending on the amount of help needed.

I am a university student, studying dentistry at King's College London, who achieved A* in mathematics at GCSE and A level. My technique involves pupils coming to me with problems, which I can address.
I try to teach by giving examples rather than just explaining the concepts, as people tend to pick up skills quicker when they see theory in action, and of course when they practice a lot of example questions.
