I am currently undergoing my A-levels and have received an unconditional offer from Surrey university for Psychology. I am giving lesson to students for maths (aged 15 and under) and for Psychology. My tutoring varies on each student taking into account their strengths and weaknesses.
I believe that with good practice and determination any student can achieve an A* grade at A level. Building up from the foundations, I try to rapidly get through to exposing the student to exam style questions to help them fully understand the content.
My teaching method is to introduce a topic with the more simple concepts and gradually get into teaching the more complex subject. Importantly ensuring to try questions as we go along.
I approach each topic carefully ensuring the students will understand completely, then move onto more challenging questions and exam practice, to ensure no question can throw the students off the ball. I feel exam practice is key for a good score in any exam at any level.
My teaching method is to understand the student's needs. Once I have painted a picture of this, I will aim to break it down into a way that they can understand it easier.

My name is Sofia and work as a maths lecturer in Uxbridge college. I have got my Qualified status from UCL. I teach maths tutions from primary to GCSE. I use various methods and resources to teach according to my students needs .
My teaching method is face to face with an individual as I believe its the best way to see a person's learning ability and slacking factors. The best way to teach anyone is to teach them basic/ foundation as its easy to build upon as the topic gets harder.
I teach according to the need to individuals need with lots of practical session and relating to surrounding environments of Human life. Hence, it becomes part of life and student remembers it rather than becoming stress for memorising the subjects.
I give lesson to students in KS2. I structure these sessions contain a bit of teaching, practicing and improving on mistakes. But mostly enjoying the subject and having interest. I like to see, positivity and a growth mind set with my students.
I base my lessons on thoroughly written documents. For instance I first start by assessing the student's capability and then personalise lessons according to the individual needs. alternatively if the student is exceptional I usually push him to his farthest extent, by providing more challenging questions from not only gcse but also additional maths.
I am someone who regularly finds themselves explaining mathematical concepts to peers. The way I like to teach is to ensure students have a strong foundation on which mathematical ideas can be built upon. Once this has been done, working through exam questions to show a student how these ideas are applied will help them to improve their understanding.
My teaching method involves encouraging students to think of the answer and lead them to the right direction rather giving them answers to help them learn better.
Teachers must have theoretical and practical knowledge and abilities about science, learning, and science teaching.

I have just retired after more than 25 years of teaching in sixth form colleges in the independent sector. I teach 11 plus, 13 plus, KS3, GCSE and A level students. I always explain the topics, discuss few examples and do problem solving during the lessons. This is followed by some homework and solving past papers. It also helps them to learn exam techniques.
Going through every topic one by one and practice exam question on the same topic we just learned. After finishing a huge topic I expect all of the student to make a colourful summary sheet with minimal writing but a lot of diagrams which they can easy revisit come exam time.
I believe students should be encouraged to assess their progress and understanding regularly to fully comprehend the level they are working at and how we can work to improve this. I think that students should be confident in their learning and be open when asking for any help and guidance so that they can attain their academic goals and do their personal best.
I am student in the final year of a Mathematics degree, who gives lessons to primary and secondary students. I do not have a generic method of teaching as I believe every student must be taught in a differently manner. I am looking to bring fun and knowledge to lessons.
