I teach MMA and all kind of self-defense without gi, such as boxing, wrestling etc. I focus my teaching in developing technique not power.
I aim to keep all of my classes calm and with a laid back atmosphere. Discussion about technique is always welcomed, enabling students to develop their own opinions and ideas, as well as encouraging deeper debate on how, why, etc. I deal with fitness, stretching and mobility to ensure all who attend can avoid injury.
After attending self-defence classes myself in the past, I have found that though the techniques were being taught correctly, the framework of classes was chaotic and unstructured, with seemingly random techniques being taught in no particular order and bearing no particular connection.
My sessions are well structured using a structured program that I’ve developed myself (basing it on the program I was a part of during my nwa Hammerlock days) each session has a full warm up and stretch out before going into basic bump drills then going into the lesson for that given day.
